Decimal ↔ fraction
0.5 = 1/2. 0.25 = 1/4. 0.1 = 1/10.
0.5 = 1/2 · 0.25 = 1/4

Adding decimals
Line up the dots and add column by column.
1.5 + 0.4 ---- 1.9

Rounding
Look at the digit AFTER the place. 5 or more — round up.
3.7 → 4 (nearest whole)

Decimals as percent
Multiply by 100. 0.25 = 25%. 0.5 = 50%.
0.25 = 25% · 0.5 = 50%
